Ahona peoples

The Ahona are a groups of peoples living on Earth, in the southern United States and Mexico. They first came to prominence around 1000 AD and maintained hegemony over their region for the next five hundred years. After the Spanish conquest of the Ahona homeland, a protracted twenty-year war between 1545-1565, the Ahona fell from power and most of them assimilated into Mexico and other native American tribes.

Dreamwalking tradition

The Ahona have a long dreamwalking tradition having created the world of Talsohu where they perform many rituals and rites of passage. These traditions, while diminished and practiced by fewer people, continue to this day.

Cultural recognition

During World War II, some Ahona enlisted in the United States military as the Phoenix Psionics to fight against Japanese dreamwalking ninjas known as the Yumekage in Okinawa.

In the 1960s, Gabriela Ore started a spiritual movement that popularized Ahona culture.

In the 1980s, the Ahona assisted the US government with the creation of the world of Mobius to research how to combat Soviet Russia should a dreamwalking war ever break out.
