Sandwich Compound

Sandwich Compound is a galactic chain restaurant founded by a molecular gastronomist named Bob Orgel. It is famous for the Multidecker Sandwich consisting of a patty, cheese, tomatoes and bread. The exact ingredients of the sandwich are a closely guarded secret, but they are created through mixing cooking with science.

One of the signature specials available is the Sandwich Compound Challenge, five enormous burgers stacked on top of one another. Anyone who manages to finish it all in one sitting within a certain time limit will be able to have the meal free of charge.

Droplet and Molly-QL are frequent customers of Sandwich Compound and regularly undertake the Sandwich Compound Challenge, often competing with each other who can finish first. Both of them are evenly matched although when tallying up their number of attempts between them, Molly-QL is three points in the lead.

At some point, Droplet and Molly-QL managed to consistently clear the challenge a tad too often, which effectively meant they were getting a lifetime of free meals. Because of this, they were both initially banned from the restaurant. However, after a series of profuse apologies, they eventually agreed to be sponsors for the Sandwich Compound. Their initial antics brought a whole wave of good publicity.
