Having also studied under Professor Stratus, Dr. Ruby Dium was a colleague of Professor Humphry who worked on the design of the Weather Machine Mark III. However, she was taken off of the project due to a series of disputes between them leaving Humphry as the only credited creator.
Ruby’s species, the alkali metals, tend to stop aging past 37. Psychologically speaking, they are far more aggressive on average than the Water Droplets. Drawing attention to this fact is a bad idea – a mistake that Humphry will regret for a long time.
