Duchess Cara Bonnie

Duchess Cara Bonnie is a high ranking noble from the Nonmetal Kingdom planet of Plumbago, a planet covered entirely in diamonds. She has a daughter named Karen who is set to have a prearranged marriage with Prince Korbin, Jack of Diamonds.

Cara Bonnie comes from a wealthy noble family that grew powerful from Plumbago’s economy of plentiful gemstones. As a result, she used her power to learn the art of mathemancy, the ancient art of using mathematics to manipulate reality in a fashion essentially indistinguishable from magic. While she considers it a side hobby, somehow, Cara Bonnie is exceptionally gifted even though she doesn’t take it very seriously.

Despite her eccentric demeanor, she is one of the most powerful sorceresses in the galaxy. She can conjure shields around herself that make her immune to attacks of a certain state of matter.

Personality

Cara Bonnie is very eccentric and often full of herself. She is extremely short-tempered and will enter a fit of rage when her tea time is interrupted. Despite this, she is a shrewd diplomat who often fills in for the Noble Gases whenever any of them are indisposed. It is hard to believe she is the same person who can calmly reason after incidents of losing her temper.

Cara Bonnie has a rather fractured relationship with her daughter Karen. Karen has no interest in marrying Prince Korbin and often sneaks out to go on dates with commoners. Cara Bonnie herself has struggled to keep tabs on her due to how busy she is with the everyday affairs of Plumbago.
