Tree Frogs

The Tree Frogs are amphibians from the planet Hylidia, a warm world with a simple seasonal cycle of summer and winter. When the Tree Frogs visited other worlds besides their own, they found that the different axial tilt gave them an equivalent of jet lag, meaning they had trouble adjusting to the coming of winter. As such, they tend to ask kind people passing by to freeze them.

Tree Frogs, when they are preparing for the winter, are often quite groggy. As they sleep with their eyes open and while standing up, many people mistake them for mindlessly staring at walls.

Lord Krypton’s taxation of many hotels and inns have often left Tree Frogs trying to sleep outdoors usually in places where they get easily disturbed.
