Groovy Lamps
One particular point of interest is a store called Groovy Lamps, a lava lamp shop located at the street address of 24 Liquid Lava Lane. They advertised their products through Teen Magazine, and sold lava lamps of a variety of different colors and sizes. For example, one could purchase the Purple Haze color for $19.99 plus $2.00 for shipping and handling.
In 1999, Karl bought a Purple Haze lamp from Groovy Lamps. Upon plugging it in, it nearly exploded. It was ruled a defective product.
