The Karland Universe is the setting of the Zackulback and Laser Industries games. It is a shared universe that consists of the majority of imaginations and stories I created during my childhood. Essentially, almost everything that Karl created from 1997 to 2008 would fall into this setting.
Karland is the first ever shared universe I created. Starting near the turn of the millennium, it was originally represented primarily by a collection of drawings done with both pencil and Microsoft Paint as well as animated cartoons created with PowerPoint.

Miscellaneous
These games are set within the Karland Universe continuity but are not part of any series.
- Gweeky’s Journey Through the Sky (2005)
- River Cannons (2006)
Canon
The Karland Universe did not have a strict continuity due to the ever shifting nature of my younger self’s imagination. However, in 2021, I made an effort to commit to organizing the games and stories into a more consistent, coherent timeline.
Content rating
Most of Karland should be fairly family friendly, but the recommended age rating is 12 and up due to crude humor and comic mischief. After all, this world was thought up by a child that grew up on 2000s Internet Flash games.
