The sequel to Laser Industries has been released. It is a direct follow-up to the first game and is set across multiple worlds, and you can play it here.
A bit of history:
Laser Industries 2 was originally created in 2006. It was my first game to feature hub levels where one could pick and choose which level they wanted to go to rather than just straight-up linearity like its predecessor. And while Laser Industries was my first game to feature voice acting, the second game uses it far more extensively. Virtually every single original sound file was rerecorded since all of the game’s text was revised for grammar and flow. Looking back, I’ve certainly come quite a long way in nine years, but the art style aged surprisingly well. The original graphics for the most part are retained and only a few minor things were altered or added.
