Behold my disasterpiece, a dungeon made to be as frustratingly annoying as possible (even for me). It features forty minutes of ladder climbing plus some tedious puzzles designed to get on your nerves.
Note: This video was recorded prior to the game’s demo release so there may be some differences in game behavior from the public version. I politely asked Akela if I could release this recording as frankly, I did not want to go through this dungeon ever again lol! I even had to upload it twice because the first time, I accidentally left in some items that let you skip most of the dungeon.
I won’t stop you from playing it yourself, but I hope you know what you’re getting into!
Lore
The Temple Order paid a visit to the Mountain Kingdom to help boost international relations. And of course, they were in the market for receiving commissions.
During one particular lively gathering in the Mountain King’s hall, the court jester was somehow invited into commissioning a dungeon. Following a copious consumption of alcoholic beverages, the jester drew up blueprints for a dungeon that would make a fool out of anyone who would dare venture it. The Temple Order members in charge of carrying out the commission also had a tad too much to drink, so they asked no questions regarding the jester’s intentions.
After a long night of drunken spellcasting and masonry deep within the mountain caves, they produced what has since been dubbed the Worst Dungeon Ever. Many adventurers tried and failed to complete it. Those that did spoke the rude tongues of sailors for days out of rage and frustration.
Despite its poor reputation, the Worst Dungeon Ever became a hit tourist attraction. Travelers from across the world came to see for themselves just how terrible it was, and they were not disappointed.
