A highly experimental dungeon! It’s based around the newly added heart pickup. Basically, you have to endure being sliced and stabbed by toe cutters while you pick up hearts. There’s also a section where you do a ton of backflips.

John Temple and his wife Jane Temple are highly skilled, highly respected members of the Temple Order. They were sent on a quest to track the whereabouts of the Trickster, an evil god that tempts Order members into building mazes of madness instead of tests of courage.
While in search of the Trickster, Jane Temple had unfortunately fell under the evil god’s sway and temptations. She built a maze of swinging blades and spikes, then subsequently trapped herself inside.
It is up to John Temple to break the curse that befell his wife. He reaches out to her, reminding her of how much they love one another. Even though the blade traps tear into John Temple’s flesh, his undying love gives him unyielding resolve to save her.
